Jeff Daugherty is the Chairman, President & CEO of SPBS, Inc. . Mr. Daugherty initially worked with SPBS from 2007-2009 in a fractional CFO capacity. During this time, he led numerous business process improvement initiatives which led to a successful organizational restructuring. Mr. Daugherty came back to SPBS in 2011, at the request of the founder, and served as CFO/COO, which included a successful turnaround initiative and acquisition of two companies. In 2016, he successfully led a buyout of the founder and shareholders through the creation of a 100% ESOP S-corp.

Mr. Daugherty also played an integral role in the successful M&A transaction of Intellamed to Agility (formerly UHS), where he served as the CFO.

Additionally, Mr. Daugherty is the founder and Managing Director of LSC Associates, LLC d/b/a/ The CFS Group based in Dallas, TX. In this capacity, he has advised, owned and managed numerous private and public companies on strategic planning, capital raising, debt placement, mergers & acquisitions, IPO’s, private placements and joint ventures. His industry experience covers a broad spectrum which includes but is not limited to: manufacturers, healthcare, business services, telecommunications, trading firms, electronics, and software companies. He has served in various operating capacities as CEO, CFO, COO and Board member for his client companies over the past 19 years. 

In the past, Mr. Daugherty was a financial advisor and consultant on behalf of Harris Trust/Bank of Montreal and BancBoston, providing strategic consultation for their growth initiatives in Florida. Additionally, Mr. Daugherty spent a great part of his working career with JP Morgan & Co. and Morgan Guaranty Trust of New York working in the private and investment banking groups.

Prior to joining JP Morgan, he was co-founder and EVP of Bank of North America. He was one of the founding members of this startup financial institution, and he led a successful initiative in acquiring five financial institutions with over $5 billion in assets before it was successfully sold within 5 years at the age of 30. Previously, Mr. Daugherty was a commercial lender with Capital Bank and started out as a credit analyst with Southeast Bank, N.A. after completing its formal management credit training program.

 Mr. Daugherty currently serves on the board of Connilly Enterprises, Inc. d/ab/a Autoventions in Sacramento, CA and an advisor with Triad Capital in Sarasota, FL.  

Mr. Daugherty earned his BBA degree in Finance from Sam Houston State University and his MBA degree in Finance from Nova Southeastern University. Mr. Daugherty has also completed the University of Pennsylvania CEO-ESOP leadership Development Program; is a member of AAMI (Association of Advancement of Medical Instrumentation) and an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

He lives in Dallas with his wife and two children. His hobbies include boating, fishing, golf, and involvement in his sons' sports teams.
